2014-2015 MAP Scores

Our students and teachers worked hard to prepare for the MAP test this past year.  We were excited for all of our students to utilize our new Chrome Books which we were able to purchase because of several generous funders: William T. Kemper Foundation, Northern Trust, The Service Bureau, and Moneta Group.

While test scores only show part of our story, we are are extremely proud to announce that our school scored 65% in Math and 65% Communication Arts! North Side Community School students scored higher than any other low-income students in St. Louis public Schools in our geographic area.

This was an amazing year of learning for our students and the 2015-2016 school year promises to be even better. We have our highest enrollment yet, a newly dedicated science lab to help facilitate increased learning and new professional staff dedicated to the continual well-being of our students.

When North Side Community School began in 2009 with only 50 students, we couldn't have imagined the impact we would have on hundreds of children years later and the lasting impression on the community we serve.

So, congratulations to our students and staff and thank you all for your support!
