Why Donate?
As a charter school, NSCS receives public monies for instruction and current expenses. However, it does not receive funds for facilities, school nurse or counselor personnel, and such daily needs as playground equipment, school buses, and art supplies.
In addition, the new Preschool program is funded through tuition and private contributions. We understand that a preschool program makes a critical difference in the future success of our students.

- 90% of Pre-K students have minimal letter recognition
- 85% of Pre-K students exhibit low levels of sight recognition of numbers 1 - 10
- Pre-K students have minimal letter writing skills and cannot write any number
Scholarships are critical to ensure students have the opportunity to attend.
Our families have chosen NSCS because they want more opportunities for their children. In order to provide our students, families, and teachers with the tools and programs they need to succeed, NSCS must rely on private and corporate contributions.
