volunteer opportunities
Do you have an extra hour in your week? Do you have a special talent to share with a group of eager students?
North Side would like to offer students, parents, and any interested party a broad range of activities throughout the day and during the after-school program. Most of these activities require volunteers and could use your help.
- Each Friday, students participate in an Activity program from 1:30 - 3:00pm. Currently, activities include such things as field trips, rock climbing, orienteering, and swim lessons. North Side would like to expand the curriculum to include the arts, such as yoga, dance, music, or visual art. Volunteers are needed to lead these activities.
- The after-school program is offered to Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st grade, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30. Volunteers are needed to provide special homework assistance and physical education programs.
